The History Of The First Traditional Tattoo

Tattoos have a long and varied history in many cultures. The earliest known tattoos were discovered in 1991 on the remains of Ötzi the Iceman, a 5,300-year-old mummy found in an Austrian glacier. This makes them the oldest known tattoos in the world. But the first traditional tattoos have an even longer history, with evidence of them being used in many cultures for thousands of years.
