Tattoos have been around for centuries, but it wasn't until the late 1800s that black traditional flower tattoos began to become popular. Before then, tattoos were primarily associated with sailors and other men who travelled the seas. The earliest examples of black traditional flower tattoos were found on Egyptian mummies, which date back to around 2000 BC.
